Amber Walker

From Melbourne, Australia, Amber Walker began her sporting life as a competitive gymnast at an early age before crossing over to Track and Field as a sprinter in high school. Always competitive, she sought out opportunities in Competition Aerobics and Lifesaving, which both allowed her to travel Australia competing at a national level.

After High School Amber attended University to study Nursing before transferring to Bio-medical Science where she specialized in Exercise Physiology. Completed her Personal Training course during a gap in her studies. Ever since she's been hooked on the gym.

Early in Amber's modeling career Amber shot for magazines such as FHM and modeled at trade shows and Bridal expos. She also donned the Lycra as a grid girl for the Indy and V8 race teams here in Australia for a number of years, before she decided to settle down and start a family. It was only after having beautiful two children that she decided to take on a new challenge and set a goal to get into body sculpting.

In 2009, which was her first year, she had entered the Best Body category and won the Northern Territory Title, the Australian Title and the Asia-Pacific, Tall and Overall Titles, going on to win the Overall World Best Body title in New York. Amber returned to New York in 2010, where she won the Tall Class and Overall World Best Body Titles once more.

After returning home from her first World Title she was lucky enough to be offered a contract as the female ambassador for GNC LiveWell Australia. Privileged to be able to promote a healthy active lifestyle on a national scale. Amber currently write blogs and magazine articles for the magazine LiveWell, focusing on inspiring and motivating others, especially women and mothers to live their dreams.

Amber Walker also have her own on-line training business and have recently begun delivering seminars on living a lean, healthy lifestyle around Australia. With her childrens she manages to juggle clients, housework and training . Excited Amber will be working on a fitness television pilot, which is due to commence filming in September.
