Carla Sizemore

A Hoosier girl at heart, born and raised in Indiana, but a Texas girl now. Carla is a National Figure Competitor and proud parent of a teenage son who keeps her on her toes. Carla strives to live a life that seeks happiness in the little things most people don’t appreciate. She's Driven, Dedicated, & Focused…Always positive and smiling, hoping to inspire others along the way! 

An active healthy lifestyle consisting of exercise and weight training has been important in her early life as far back as she can remember. Carla was that girl doing step aerobics to Cher workout videos in her living room floor with 3 lb. dumbbells. It wasn’t until her mid 30’s that she learned about figure competitions. Carla started reading and researching everything that had to do with living a healthy lifestyle and what it took to step on stage. She had found that nutrition was a main factor to excellent health, followed by exercise and a person’s POSITIVE ATTITUDE. Carla Sizemore took the stage for the 1st time in 2009. For the next year, she competed in 7 more shows, taking 1st in every Master’s division and a top 5 placing in each of the Open Divisions. A top 10 finish at the 2010 Nationals ended her first full year of competing, and a 4th place finish at the 2011 Nationals ended her 2nd year. "I’m very competitive in everything I do, so anything less than a 1st keeps me hooked and striving to make it to the top". Carla is hoping her third year is a charm! She will be trying for an IFBB Pro Card once again on July 6th & 7th at Team Universe.

Carla finds herself to be inspired by people. She admires those who are able to find balance in their life. “We all have a story with a beginning and challenges we’ve faced along the way, but it’s those people who have the will to survive and turn those obstacles into a positive that inspire me the most”. As the owner of Mud Fears Me Productions, LLC and an executive for The Original Mud Run, she feels lucky to be inspired each and every day in her career. Carla has her hands in every aspect of the company from Human Resources to driving tractors and serving as the driving force behind changing the lives of people in the community leading by example. Her main focus is on reaching out to those individuals who need help challenging themselves beyond what they thought they were capable of. At the end of the day, if she has inspired and changed the life of just ONE individual that she comes in contact with, Carla feels complete. Carla Sizemore also works closely with fitness professionals and the people they touch every day and encourages them to raise their goal for a lifestyle of fitness and while doing so encourage them to help others in their community through the charitable components of her events. Changing lives is what Carla Sizemore LOVES to do!
