Tony Marcola
Back in 2011 Tony Marcola was faced with a difficult situation due to a turbulent economy. Over 11 years as an experienced electrician, almost 7 years of which he held a senior leadership position. Tony was certain his future was bright, but a slowing economy meant fewer projects and he was eventually laid off. Not knowing when or if he was going to return to work, stress levels and worry began to set in. Tony had been in and around the construction industry since jr. high and was good at what he did, thus helping him to find enough work on his own to get by during his hardship. Working very little allowed for a lot of extra time on his hands. He needed something to get his mind off of things.
In February of 2011, Tony joined an elite gym called ithinkfit in his hometown of Omaha, Nebraska. Doing this allowed him to ease the stress levels of him being laid off. Always an athlete and into sports growing up, Tony wasn’t a stranger to the gym, but he was never consistent. Continually slacking off, never really achieving that ideal physique that we all wish to attain. He began attending fit camp and weight training sessions on a daily basis, sometimes twice a day for the next three months. Quickly cutting 8% of his body fat and gaining 15 solid pounds of muscle in only 7 short weeks, he was astounded by his results. Tony continued to push the limits and moved forward in his training to see just how far he could take it. This had become an everyday way of life for him by this point. Tony was hooked, gaining knowledge from his trainers and every muscle and fitness magazine he could get his hands on, his training was down to a science. Still progressing and leaning more and more everyday, Tony entered his first fitness competition in Toronto, Canada at the WBFF World Championships. Having done very well, he was offered a spot with RockSolid Nutrition to be one of their sponsored athletes.
Amazed by what he had accomplished in just 6 months and how much happier his life had become, Tony decided to extend his new found passion on to others looking to make a change in their lifestyle. Offering dietary plans, fat burning and mass muscle building workout routines for people looking to get over the hump. His goal is to educate and improve the lives of individuals in fitness, health and everyday life by having them follow a simple formula. “ If you want something bad enough, you go get it! People want results! I wanna help. I like to set my goals high, then shatter those goals and continue to set new ones “ says Tony. Enthusiasm is what fuels his success, which in return motivates others to follow in his footsteps. Tony credits much of his accomplishments to his family and friends for all the love and support they’ve shown throughout his transformation. As for Tony’s future, he hopes to continue in exceeding his personal fitness goals, inspire others to do so as well and possibly land publications with magazines such as: Muscle and Fitness, Fitness Rx, Reps, Men’s Fitness, Inside Fitness, Physique etc…
